Microsoft Refunds SD Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition Owners
Minecraft has been a huge success for everyone involved, it’s the best selling Xbox Live game in history and is getting rave reviews from critics with the promise of new content on the way.
There has been one problem from the beginning though.
Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition has split screen available but only if you have an HD television. This was not explained to users before they bought the title and was found out only after they purchased and started the title for the first time. Upset customers contact Microsoft support and it seems it did the trick. Today Microsoft announced that it changed Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition’s page on Xbox Live’s marketplace to tell users about split screen and it’s going to refund anyone who bought Minecraft before the change.
The official statement reads as follows,
For anyone with an SD set that purchased the game not knowing about the lack of split screen you can contact Microsoft for your money back.
Way to come through Microsoft!
