Microsoft will not be participating in GamesCom and TGS this year, as confirmed from German site MediaBiz. Based on a rough translation from Google Translate, Microsoft Germany’s Oliver Katner has confirmed the company will not be in attendance.
The rough translation basically states that Microsoft has decided that they will not be showing their Xbox 360 line up at either event. Katner also stated that Microsoft is looking into the possibility to have smaller, local events to show off content instead of a big convention like GamesCom.
